Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
Scout Intent is owned and operated by Emiş Ayda Ünaldı, a sole trader established in Türkiye, trading as "Scout Intent" ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Scout Intent (the "Service"), a B2B industrial demand intelligence platform, and form a binding agreement between you and Emiş Ayda Ünaldı. You can reach us at info@scoutintent.com.
By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company; if you are accepting as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to enter into this agreement.
2. The Service
Scout Intent is a software-as-a-service industrial demand intelligence application. It analyses permitted public web sources, public procurement registries, licensed third-party data APIs and content you choose to provide, then uses automated models to assemble structured demand events: the industrial change observed, the operational consequences it implies, the categories of equipment or services that change may create demand for, an estimated procurement window, and the evidence and confidence behind each conclusion.
Scout Intent produces organization-level market intelligence. It does not provide personal contact data, and it does not perform outreach. The Service may identify organizations, projects, facilities, procurement notices and public business events relevant to the demand profile you configure. It links to the original sources behind each conclusion; any commercial action you take remains entirely your responsibility and takes place outside the Service. It does not sell or enrich personal contact lists, email addresses or phone numbers, and it does not send, schedule or automate outreach to third parties. We do not access private or restricted content without an authorized integration or content you deliberately provide. Analysis is presented inside your workspace and, if enabled, through your own notification channels. Scout Intent is not a marketplace and does not broker transactions, accept third-party bids or enable users to sell products or services to one another.
The Service focuses on organizations and business events rather than personal profiles. Outputs — including demand events, inferred operational consequences, demand-category predictions, monetary estimates, procurement-window estimates and Scout confidence scores — are generated by automated models. Scout confidence expresses evidence strength; it is not a calibrated statistical probability. Where a source provides no basis for a figure, the Service reports it as unknown rather than estimating one. Coverage is not exhaustive and the Service does not guarantee that every relevant industrial change in a market will be found. Predicted demand is probabilistic and does not mean an organization has decided to purchase. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are provided for business research only, not as legal, financial or professional advice. You are responsible for independently verifying material facts and for the lawfulness of any action you take using the research.
3. Accounts and workspaces
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. Each workspace is owned by the account that created it. Owners and admins may invite, remove and change the roles of members, up to the seat limit included in their plan. You are responsible for all activity occurring under your workspace.
4. Plans, billing and renewal
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms, which govern payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Prices are shown exclusive of applicable taxes, which Paddle calculates and collects. Upgrading or downgrading takes effect immediately and the difference is prorated on your next invoice.
Each plan includes monitored markets, demand categories and seats, together with a fair-use allowance of demand events analysed. When an allowance is reached, processing of new evidence may pause until it resets at the start of your next billing period or you upgrade.
4a. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, source code, models, prompts, databases, user interface, documentation, and the Scout Intent name and branding, is and remains the exclusive property of Emiş Ayda Ünaldı and its licensors. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own internal business purposes during your subscription. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, sublicense or create derivative works from the Service, remove proprietary notices, or circumvent technical or plan limits.
You retain ownership of the content and configuration you submit to the Service, and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service to you.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from Billing in your workspace. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then and are not charged again. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
The Service has no messaging, outreach, contact-export, identity-reveal or list-building capability of any kind, and must not be used to identify people for or facilitate unsolicited outbound marketing. Our full Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms. You must not use the Service to:
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or conduct outreach that breaches applicable marketing, privacy or anti-spam law;
- build, enrich, export or resell contact lists, personal-data databases or the underlying third-party data;
- harvest, scrape or crawl any website or platform, or circumvent any platform's terms, rate limits or technical protections;
- profile, surveil, stalk or target individuals, or process special-category personal data (health, political, religious, biometric, sexual-orientation data);
- generate or distribute unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, harassing or infringing content, deepfakes, malware, or content that impersonates another person;
- attempt to jailbreak, reverse engineer, probe, interfere with or overload the Service or its underlying models and infrastructure;
- use the Service for credit, employment, housing, insurance or other decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on an individual.
You are responsible for the prompts and configuration you submit, for verifying outputs before acting on them, and for holding the necessary rights to any content you provide. We may filter, restrict or remove content, refuse outputs, and suspend or terminate workspaces for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. Rights-holders may report suspected infringement to info@scoutintent.com and we will review and act, including terminating repeat infringers.
7. Data and availability
The Service processes data from public sources and third-party APIs. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, completeness of coverage, or the accuracy of any need score, buying-window estimate or predicted-demand classification. The Service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
9. Changes
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Service or the law. Material changes will be announced in the application or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
