1. Who we are

Scout Intent is owned and operated by Emiş Ayda Ünaldı, a sole trader established in Türkiye, trading as "Scout Intent", which operates a B2B industrial demand intelligence platform. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and what rights you have. For account data Emiş Ayda Ünaldı acts as data controller; for the signals you choose to monitor we act as processor on your behalf. You can contact us at info@scoutintent.com.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email address, workspace name, role and authentication metadata.

Billing data: plan, subscription status and invoice history. Card details are handled entirely by Paddle; we never see or store them.

Research data: business information from permitted public web and procurement sources, licensed third-party APIs, and content you deliberately provide, together with classifications, demand predictions and confidence scores generated from it. The product is designed around organizations and business events rather than personal contact enrichment.

Usage data: logs, feature usage counters and error reports used to operate and secure the Service.

3. Why we process it

To provide and secure the Service (performance of a contract), to bill subscriptions (contract and legal obligation), and to analyse business events, procurement activity and other market evidence on your instruction (legitimate interest in B2B research). We do not sell personal data or use customer research data to train third-party models.

4. Processors we use

Supabase (database, authentication and hosting), Paddle (payments and tax, acting as merchant of record), Google Gemini (classification and summarisation of business evidence), SocialFetch (retrieval of public social content), and Telegram (optional alert delivery you enable yourself). Each processes data only as needed to deliver the Service.

5. Retention

Raw research evidence is retained for up to 90 days. Saved analyses are retained for the life of your workspace so your research history stays intact. Account and billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting law. Deleting your workspace removes watchers, signals and saved analyses associated with it.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Individuals whose personal data may appear incidentally in sourced business evidence may request removal where applicable. Send requests to info@scoutintent.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is scoped per workspace with row-level security, and administrative credentials are restricted to server-side systems. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of any breach as required by law.

8. International transfers

Our processors may store or process data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
